The heir to the Osei Kwame Despite fortune and his bride got married in a plush wedding. #kency2020 was undoubtedly one of the vastly talked-about wedding ceremonies in Ghana in 2020 and we got to thinking…. which other weddings got this much buzz on social media? Michael Owusu Addo is popularly known as Sarkodie who is one of Ghana’s best rappers and is heeded as one of the best Hip Hop artistes in Africa finally fastened the knot confidentially in July 2018 with his long-time girlfriend, Tracy Sarkcess after almost a decade of courting. Some articles suggest that the private white wedding ceremony took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel and had a lot of prominent celebrates and public figures attending.

The Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy got married to Dr Louisa Setekla in June 2017. Doctor Louisa has been a dominant monument behind her husband for some time now. The report says she is part of the management of her husband’s pursuit. Stonebwoy showed his passionate appreciation to his wife for her consent towards his music career. Their star-studded wedding, therefore, attracted a myriad of headlines. The Ghanaian singer popularly known as Becca got married to Tobi Oluwatobi Sanni Daniel, former business manager for a Nigerian artiste, fastened the knot in August 2018 at a ceremony held in Accra. Becca’s private wedding was a fusion of the singer’s Ghanaian culture and Nigerian grooms’ Yoruba culture.
The traditional wedding took place in the morning in Accra, then in the day, there was a civil wedding. Planning a traditional wedding in Ghana involves the entire families of the couple and since this was considered an international wedding, you can say they did a pretty good job.

At the age of 45, the celebrated Ghanaian broadcaster, Gifty Anti tied the knot with Nana Ansah Kwao IV in 2015. The royal wedding which amassed huge media interest in Ghana was attended by some of Ghana’s A-list personalities including former President John Agyekum Kufuor. The couple were blessed with a daughter after two years of their marriage.

The Ghanaian actress and her boyfriend had their engagement ceremony at her residence. Nana Ama McBrown and Maxwell Mensah later exchanged their vows at their white wedding which took place on the same day at the Christ Apostolic Church at Alajo in Accra.
The wedding was strictly by invitation, therefore, only a few close friends and relatives attended.
