Ours is a love truly divine. I met Kwadwo at a time in my life when I didn’t know I needed someone like him; or someone at all. It started with one phone call and from then I knew there was something special. We’ve grown together from the ‘sibling zone’ to ‘bestie zone’ and then to being sweethearts and it’s been a beautiful journey. He’s such an adorable gentleman, a good Christian and has been an amazing friend and tremendous support throughout the years. I’m excited to spend forever with Kwadwo, the love of my life. I know that with God as a seal on our love, we’ll beat the odds of life.
The Groom
I met Gladys in high school while attending the graduation ceremony of our alma mater, Good Shepherd school. She was the assistant girls’ prefect at that time and I probably might have heard about this new girl who was always topping her class and winning competitions and all, but it was her speech that day that captivated me. I really don’t remember what she said, (Afterall, nobody really pays attention to those long speeches) but I just wanted to hear more; there was something about her. We became friends and I was almost certain even at that time that she was that special one for me. Our relationship has grown through several phases and every stage has blossomed so gracefully with love and affection. I love Gladys. Gladys has a beautiful heart and a demure charm. She’s been an amazing friend and I can’t describe the excitement I feel as we take this next step of total commitment. God has always been our mutual friend and after several years, our journey together has only just begun.
