I met Kwasi about 12 years ago. To me, he was just my spiritual father. . Unknowingly, God had planned something beautiful for us. Years down the lane and here we are. Words can’t explain or describe how excited I am to be joined together as one with Him. A strong pillar in my life. Jeremiah 1:5 says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you;I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Indeed, God knew me before I was even formed. He looked deep into my heart and carefully made Kwasi just for me. My best friend, My forever. Let’s hold each other tightly and never let go.. The journey is just about to begin.
The intriguing part of this relationship is both of us have no memory of the exact moment it actually begun. We just know we became friends 12 years ago and best friends 7 years ago. What struck me initially about her was her voice… then I got acquainted with her and realized she was pursuing truth and spiritual growth so I decided to help. There were no hidden motives and I think that set us on a trajectory of friendship with mutual respect and trust. She had and still has a teachable spirit and it helped me study more… the questions were endless! In all honesty, I was just doing a good job ( I pray heaven thinks same), by grand design I was being used to raise my wife. God eh..! I woke up one day and there was a ‘knowing’. God was working in me to will and do for his good pleasure… and that word has sustained us. I am eternally grateful to God for her; Pure gift, unbridled love, total peace of mind! Her stoicism and vulnerability, beautiful annoyance and unwavering faith has made this ride all the more fun. God’s stroke of brilliance just took another turn. The future looks exciting!
Congrats Maggie and Kwesi! See you tomorrow
