My forever love
I met Marvin in 2013 through a mutual friend. I had started a fashion accessories company and needed a supplier of bags. What started as a business relationship blossomed into a friendship.
Each time he would come to Accra, he would pay me a visit and we would talk for hours.
We lost touch at a point when I left Ghana. I would reach out to ask him questions about setting up a factory for the bead and bag making.
I came on holidays in December 2018 and coincidentally, he had moved to Accra. I decided to pay him a visit at his factory. The boy was looking fine! I was like ‘gurl, you have to look sharp’.
We started talking again even while I was in Germany. When I finally relocated to Ghana, he proposed again. And this time, I was not letting him go!
The beginning of our relationship was not easy because I was carrying a lot of baggage. But this guy would not let me go!
I am glad he pursued me relentlessly. He has loved me from day one and always says ‘ love always wins’
I am so glad I met you. Your leadership is impeccable. It’s cliché but you make me a better person and accept me just the way I am. I look forward to annoying you for the rest of our lives??
My strong and sassy dream woman
When I met Victoria, I thought she was so intelligent and confident! I loved that she could walk into any office and get what she wanted.
First, she managed to negotiate a supply contract with Nallem Clothing and subsequently with Woodin. I was impressed by her can- do spirit and poise.
I thought we could achieve a lot together and asked her to marry me. She said no! Ei this girl! We lost touch for a while but she would reach out occasionally to ask one question or the other about some sewing machines she wanted to purchase. Can you imagine?
In 2018, she came to my factory and we noticed that the chemistry was still there. I tested the waters and proposed again. She was still doing long but eventually, she said yes.
We have had challenges but it’s made us stronger. We tease each other, we fight, we love and we support each other. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her.
I love you Victoria, I have always loved you and you will always be my number 1.
Congratulations my (not so little anymore) bumblebee. I wish you and Marvin endless joy as you embark on this journey. Xx
Wow! Congrats Victoria and Marvin! God bless your unioin. ?
