When I first met Araba in 2010 at NIIT in Tema, I thought to myself, what a pretty damsel!! There was some sought of mystery about her. The way she walked into class every day oozing with confidence. I had to be friends with this girl. I would wait for her at the entrance every time after class and escort her to go get a cab home. Initially, she was doing “too know”, not wanting to give me her number but I never stopped asking until she gave it up.

We started talking on the phone almost every night, I would go on the internet and search for goodnight and good morning messages and send to her. This girl wouldn’t even acknowledge the messages mpo…lol. Eventually, we grew fond of each other, became close and our classmates noticed. One time, she missed class and the tutor asked the whole class, where is Hannah? Everyone in the class was like…. “ask Clement”.

We finished the course and had to go to Uni. She went to UCC all the way in Cape coast and I went to Central Uni. Miotso campus. Distance tested our friendship, we didn’t talk as often as we used to, just once in a while. Fast forward to 2015, during our national service, I decided to pay her visit in her office and my oh my, this girl had blossomed into a much more beautiful woman. We picked up from where we left off before Uni. I proposed to her, she was flexing me kakra but eventually, she said yes.

Our relationship has been an easy journey but we were both determined to make it work. I love you Bosua, can’t wait to spend forever with you.
